According to Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries, the world's largest single-arm fully revolving crane vessel, "Zhenhua 30," has successfully completed a load test of its 12,000-ton crane. The successful test marks the final phase of the vessel's modernization, renovation, and upgrade project. It not only fully validates the stability and load-bearing capacity of the crane system under extreme working conditions but also establishes a solid technical foundation for undertaking heavy offshore lifting operations in the future.

The load test lasted nearly one month and was conducted in strict accordance with dual standards from the China Classification Society and the American Bureau of Shipping. It involved systematic testing under multiple working conditions and various load levels. The commissioning plan adopted a step-by-step increase strategy for the main hook load test, starting from 5,500 tons and progressively raising to 7,700 tons, 11,000 tons, and finally a 13,200-ton overload test.

Following this, the "Zhenhua 30" will participate in major national marine engineering projects with enhanced performance, providing strong equipment support for the development of maritime power. Public information indicates that the vessel was independently developed by Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industries Group. It has an overall length of 297.55 meters and a width of 58 meters. It is capable of lifting 12,000 tons in single-arm fixed mode and 7,000 tons in single-arm fully revolving mode. The vessel is equipped with a dynamic positioning system, a wave compensation system, and features self-propulsion, anchoring, and side-thrust capabilities. It is primarily used for lifting and transporting large offshore components, modules, and jacket structures.
