AK Medical Holdings Limited (AK Medical) has been selected as a constituent stock of the CSI HK Connect Robotics Thematic Index (932599), effective 27 February 2026. The index tracks 30 Hong Kong-listed companies that focus on robotic manufacturing, related software and hardware, and computing resources for intelligent control and decision-making.

AK Medical states this inclusion reflects recognition of its value and growth potential, particularly in surgical robotics. From December 2024 to January 2026, the company secured bids for its independently developed robot at several large Class III hospitals. On 15 January 2026, it obtained Class III medical device certification for its K3+ intelligent surgical robot, covering hip, knee, and single condyle indications, including revision surgery.

According to AK Medical, the company intends to use its dual-brand strategy (“AK + JRI”) to deepen its digital and international reach, enhance commercialization capabilities, and further expand its global footprint. The management believes that increased visibility from the index inclusion may broaden AK Medical’s investor base and improve liquidity, supporting longer-term development within the capital market.
