Volcano Engine has officially launched the Seedance 2.5 API service this afternoon. Compared to Seedance 2.0, Seedance 2.5 significantly improves capabilities in instruction following, long-form narrative, realistic human portrayal, and audiovisual quality.

The model natively supports direct output of 30-second videos, accepts up to 50 full-modal material references, offers more precise and stable editing features, and is compatible with over ten languages. Seedance 2.5 has been simultaneously launched on platforms such as LibTV, Qixiang AI, TapNow, Panqu AI, Huimeng Gongfang AI, and Xingyu Yingjie, providing enterprises and creators with more tool options.

Additionally, Volcano Engine will introduce time-limited discounts on the Seedance 2.0 mini and Seedance 2.0 fast APIs. From August 7 to September 7, Seedance 2.0 mini will be billed at 40% of the listed price, with the lowest rate dropping to approximately 0.2 yuan per second at 720P resolution. Seedance 2.0 fast will be billed at 75% of the listed price, with the lowest rate dropping to approximately 0.6 yuan per second at 720P resolution.
