CHABAIDAO's Coffee Segment Expands Rapidly, Reaching Over 2,700 Outlets in Three Months

The coffee business at CHABAIDAO is progressing faster than anticipated. On June 22nd, the company launched its first collaborative coffee product line in partnership with the popular domestic animation IP "Fanren." This co-branded merchandise, including items like laser-printed tickets and refrigerator magnets, cleverly incorporates wordplay from the series, such as a "boiled egg" item referencing a key plot element.

Several franchisees have reported positive early results. "Coffee has only been available in our store for two weeks," one noted, "but following the brand's advice to open at 7:30 AM, daily sales are consistently increasing. It's a great addition to our overall business." The introduction of coffee has notably boosted order volume during the breakfast period, creating new revenue streams.

Available data indicates that CHABAIDAO has rolled out more than ten coffee products. The number of outlets offering coffee has surged from approximately 200 at the start of the year to over 2,700 currently.

This expansion has significantly outpaced internal projections. During an earnings briefing in March 2026, management had forecast reaching 2,000 stores with coffee offerings by year-end. Having surpassed that full-year target in just three months, the growth trajectory is clearly exceeding expectations.

The company has stated that its coffee segment is in a phase of rapid expansion. It plans to continue executing its "tea-coffee synergy" strategy with a core focus on product development, aiming to further enhance store performance.
