JIANGXI COPPER (00358) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Jiangxi Copper (Hong Kong) Investment Limited, made a formal cash offer on December 24, 2025 (London time) to acquire all issued and to-be-issued share capital of SolGold plc at 28 pence per share, excluding shares already held by the company. The acquisition plan was approved during the court meeting and the target company's extraordinary general meeting held on February 23, 2026 (London time). Following a sanction hearing at the UK court on March 2, 2026 (London time), the scheme of arrangement was approved and is expected to become effective on March 4, 2026 (London time).
