On the evening of March 20, CITIC Bank (601998.SH, 0998.HK) announced a board meeting resolution approving the proposal to appoint Mr. Zhao Yuanxin as a Deputy President of China Citic Bank Corporation Limited. His appointment will take effect upon approval by regulatory authorities. Born in February 1974, Zhao Yuanxin has 29 years of experience in China's banking industry. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Hunan University of Finance and Economics and is certified as an Economic Engineer. Zhao has held various positions across multiple branches of CITIC Bank. According to his resume, from July 2005 to August 2014, he served as Assistant President, Party Committee Member, and Deputy President of the Suzhou Branch, as well as Party Committee Secretary and President of the Nanchang Branch. From August 2014 to November 2025, Zhao served as Party Committee Secretary and President of the Nanchang, Suzhou, and Shanghai branches. Since November 2025, he has been General Manager of the Head Office's Credit Execution Department, and from March 2026, he has served as a member of the Party Committee of China Citic Bank Corporation Limited. Currently, the Party Committee Secretary and Chairman of CITIC Bank is Fang Heying. The Deputy Presidents include Hu Gang, Xie Zhibin, He Jinsong, Gu Lingyun, and Jin Xinian. Lu Jingen serves as Business Director, and Zhang Qing is the Board Secretary.
