Karman Holdings (KRMN) stock soared 5.46% over the past 24 hours, as investors reacted to the company's fiscal second-quarter earnings release that exceeded analyst expectations and an upward revision to its full-year outlook.

The space and defense systems maker reported adjusted earnings per share of $0.14, beating the consensus estimate of $0.13. Revenue climbed 58.2% year-over-year to $182.1 million, also surpassing the $180.1 million forecast. The strong performance was driven by growth in hypersonics, strategic missile defense, and unmanned aircraft systems. Management raised its fiscal 2026 revenue guidance to a range of $730 million to $745 million, up from the prior $720 million to $735 million, and increased its adjusted EBITDA forecast to $215 million to $222.5 million, reflecting confidence in a record $1.3 billion backlog.

Additional positive sentiment came from the announcement of a debt repricing that is expected to reduce annual interest expense by approximately $4 million, and a planned acquisition of Walker Precision Engineering for about $94 million to expand into the European defense market. The combination of an earnings beat, raised guidance, and strategic initiatives fueled the after-hours surge in the stock.
