The July contract for the Hang Seng Index night futures closed at 23,253 points on July 4, declining by 46 points or 0.197%, and traded at a discount of 97 points to the underlying index.

The total number of open contracts stood at 121,261, a decrease of 19,632 contracts. The net number of open contracts was reported at 45,111, down by 99 contracts.
