JINCHUAN INTL (02362) announced that in the first half of 2025, the Group's mining operations produced 27,904 tons of copper (copper content in electrolytic copper and copper concentrate), representing a decrease of approximately 2.4% compared to 28,578 tons in the same period of 2024. This decline was attributed to unstable power supply from the Democratic Republic of Congo's national grid to the Ruashi mine, leading to the temporary suspension of the solvent extraction-electrowinning (SX-EW) system in January 2025. Consequently, electrolytic copper production dropped, while the Group utilized its flotation plant to produce more copper concentrate with higher copper content, thereby maintaining overall production levels. To address the power supply issues, the Group actively installed additional diesel generators, and the SX-EW system resumed operations in mid-May 2025.

Due to the temporary suspension of the SX-EW system, the Group produced 71 tons of cobalt (cobalt content in cobalt hydroxide) in the first half of 2025, representing a decrease of approximately 89.6% compared to 681 tons in the same period of 2024.

In the first half of 2025, the Group's mining operations sold 26,050 tons of copper (copper content in direct shipping ore, electrolytic copper and copper concentrate), representing a slight decrease of 0.7% compared to 26,222 tons in the same period of 2024. Due to low cobalt production and the implementation of an export ban from February 2025 (currently extended to September 2025), the Group did not sell any cobalt in the first half of 2025, compared to 991 tons sold in the same period of 2024.

Additionally, trading suspension continues.
