On 16 February 2026, a notice was issued concerning the proposed privatisation by way of scheme of arrangement for ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd. The disclosure was made pursuant to Rule 22 of the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers. According to the notice, CITIC Securities Company Limited, a Class (5) associate connected with the Offeror, conducted dealings in A shares of ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd. on 13 February 2026 in RMB for its own account.

CITIC Securities reported two transactions. The first involved a purchase of 100 ordinary shares of ENN Natural Gas Co., Ltd., linked to the dealing in pre-existing index-tracking ETFs, at a total of 1,911.00 and at a price of 19.11 per share. The second involved the sale of 300 ordinary shares, relating to the creation of new index-tracking ETFs, at a total of 5,733.00 and at the same price of 19.11 per share. These transactions were executed in accordance with the relevant regulations and formed part of the ongoing privatisation initiative. The shares involved represent less than 1% of the class in issue and less than 20% of the value of the relevant basket or index.
