Miricor Reshapes Board: Long-Serving INED Steps Down, Veteran Banker Gianne Wong Joins; New Chairs for Audit and Remuneration Committees

Miricor Enterprises Holdings Limited announced a comprehensive refresh of its board and committee leadership, effective 21 September 2026, aligning its governance structure with the enhanced requirements of Hong Kong Stock Exchange Listing Rule 3.13A.

Mr. CHENG Yuk Wo has resigned after nearly 10 years of service as Independent Non-Executive Director (INED), Chairman and member of both the Audit and Remuneration Committees, and member of the Nomination Committee. Miricor confirmed that Mr. Cheng departed without disagreement and expressed appreciation for his decade-long contribution.

Ms. Gianne Wong, aged 47, joins the board as an INED and becomes a member of both the Audit and Nomination Committees. Wong brings 25 years of financial management, corporate governance, and strategic advisory experience, currently serving as an INED of Baige Online Digital Technology and as a subject-matter expert for the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Her previous roles include finance and investor relations director at Dalipal Holdings, joint company secretary at Kidsland International, and senior positions at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, HSBC, and PwC. She holds a BBA in Accounting from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and an MSSc in Applied Psychology from City University of Hong Kong, and is a fellow of CPA Australia and a certified banker (treasury management). Wong has signed a three-year appointment letter with annual remuneration of HK$0.20 million.

Concurrently, existing INED Mr. LI Wai Kwan has been elevated to Chairman of the Audit Committee, while INED Mr. CHENG Fu Kwok David assumes the roles of Chairman and member of the Remuneration Committee.

Post-changes, Miricor’s board comprises four executive directors—Ms. LAI Ka Yee Gigi (Chairlady & CEO), Mr. HO Tsz Leung Lincoln, Dr. LAM Ping Yan, and Mr. TANG Sung Kin—and three INEDs: Mr. CHENG Fu Kwok David, Mr. LI Wai Kwan, and Ms. Gianne Wong.
