On October 2, County Head Zhou Qiang met with Zhou Huaixun, Director of Guangxi State-Owned Paiyangshan Forest Farm, and his delegation.

The two sides held in-depth discussions focused on key areas including building the full forestry industry chain, empowering development through scientific research and innovation, and driving rural revitalization.

At the meeting, Zhou Qiang welcomed Zhou Huaixun and his delegation and expressed gratitude for Paiyangshan Forest Farm's long-standing care and support for the development of Zhaoping's forestry industry.

He pointed out that Zhaoping County is a major county in forestry resources across the region and a national key ecological function zone, with abundant forest resources, a deep ecological foundation, and a solid base for specialty forest product industries such as tea and star anise.

In recent years, the county has actively explored and accumulated experience in forestry carbon ticket development, under-forest economy cultivation, and ecological value conversion, giving it a solid foundation for forestry industry development and broad room for cooperation.

Zhou Qiang stated that he hopes both sides will take this meeting as an opportunity to deepen practical cooperation in building the full industry chain and jointly developing platforms by relying on Paiyangshan Forest Farm's advantages in scientific research, technology, and industry.

He said the two sides should anchor to the goals of high quality, high efficiency, and high benefit, work together to break through development bottlenecks, and integrate rural revitalization throughout the entire cooperation process, achieving a win-win pattern of increased government tax revenue, corporate profit, and higher incomes for the people.

Zhou Huaixun expressed gratitude for the trust and support of the Zhaoping County Party Committee and County Government.

He highly recognized Zhaoping County's excellent ecological endowments, solid forestry industry foundation, and pragmatic and efficient development philosophy, and provided a detailed introduction to Paiyangshan Forest Farm's achievements in forest management, deep processing of forest products, scientific research breakthroughs, and industrial operations.

He stated that Paiyangshan Forest Farm will fully leverage the advantages of a state-owned forest farm in technology, talent, platforms, and industry, proactively align with Zhaoping's development needs, and deepen practical collaboration in areas such as improved forest tree breeding, tackling key deep-processing technologies, and jointly building scientific research platforms.

This will help Zhaoping revitalize its ecological resources, strengthen its forest product chain, and raise industrial added value, jointly driving the transformation of ecological advantages into momentum for high-quality development and achieving complementary strengths, joint progress, and mutual benefit between the locality and the farm.
