On the afternoon of September 20, at the 2025 World Manufacturing Conference, Yang Yuanqing, Chairman and CEO of LENOVO GROUP and President of the Anhui Merchant Association, pointed out that as a key player in Anhui's manufacturing sector, Lenovo's manufacturing base established in Hefei in 2011 has grown into a major hub for Lenovo's global manufacturing operations, with industrial output reaching 105.7 billion yuan last year.

According to his introduction, LENOVO GROUP's Hefei manufacturing base not only maintains a leading position in personal computers and other smart terminals, but has also expanded into servers and motherboard sectors, while proactively positioning itself in emerging fields such as embodied intelligence. The base has maintained industrial output and revenue exceeding 100 billion yuan for five consecutive years. As an industry chain leader, it has attracted over 70 partners to cluster and form synergies, creating a 4-hour industrial circle in Anhui with annual industrial output contribution of 14 billion yuan and cumulative job creation of nearly 100,000 positions.

"In the first half of this year, facing multiple challenges in the macroeconomic environment, LENOVO GROUP's Hefei manufacturing base achieved counter-trend growth, with industrial output growing 27% year-over-year and exports increasing 38%," Yang Yuanqing stated. "This vividly demonstrates the strong resilience, vitality, and continuously improving competitiveness of Anhui's manufacturing sector!"
