At the 18th Xuanyuan Automotive Bluebook Forum held in Guangzhou from May 15 to 17, themed "Turning Point," Chen Jiadang, Deputy General Manager of Geely International, delivered a speech outlining Geely's internationalization goals for the next five years, starting from 2026. The Geely Group has set a vision of "comprehensive leadership," aiming to achieve annual sales of 6.5 million vehicles by 2030, with overseas sales accounting for one-third of the total and the brand ranking among the top five globally.

Chen emphasized that based on this strategic plan, the company has established clear near-term internationalization objectives: striving to reach overseas sales of 750,000 vehicles by 2026 and targeting even higher goals next year.

He noted that in the past, Chinese automotive brands primarily focused on exporting fuel-powered vehicles. Moving forward, Geely will adopt a dual approach of "fuel and electric vehicles": upgrading fuel vehicles toward energy efficiency and intelligence, with a related technology brand launched last month. In the new energy sector, exports are growing rapidly, with electric vehicle exports contributing 174,000 units from January to April this year, demonstrating strong performance.

"More importantly, we will persist in brand premiumization, leveraging our multi-brand portfolio including Geely, Lynk & Co, and ZEEKR. Among these, ZEEKR is positioned to break through in the premium segment, reshaping the global value of Chinese brands through technological strength," he stated.
