Xiaomi's Lei Jun Reveals Two-Year Plan for Custom Car Services Typically Found in Luxury Brands

Xiaomi Group founder, chairman, and CEO Lei Jun disclosed during a live broadcast on February 10 that he had envisioned introducing personalized car customization services two years ago. He explained that such services would not only fulfill individual car owners' desires for unique vehicles but also provide the R&D department with a studio to interact with and understand customers. Lei Jun noted that this type of customization center is rare among mass-market car brands and is typically only offered by luxury automobile manufacturers.

During the broadcast, staff mentioned that since its launch, Xiaomi's customization center has attracted numerous families, with approximately one-third of visiting households including children.
