On the same day, Zhang Xuefeng (real name Zhang Zibiao) told reporters that "the blocking is an account issue" before hanging up the phone.

According to public records, Zhang Xuefeng is a renowned teacher for graduate exam preparation. He graduated from Zhengzhou University with a degree in water supply and drainage engineering. In 2016, he gained internet fame with his video "Seven Minutes to Interpret 34 Project 985 Universities" and has since participated in various variety shows and film and television programs.
