On March 5, Douyin Life Service announced that its "Freestyle Group" business has been officially renamed "Douyin Instant Delivery." It is reported that "Freestyle Group" was a service launched by Douyin Life Service targeting high-quality dine-in merchants. The service operates on an invitation-only basis and partners with merchants capable of supporting delivery services, offering customers two options for the same group purchase package: "in-store verification" or "home delivery."

Data released by Douyin Life Service shows that as of early December 2025, more than 3,000 brands had participated in the "Freestyle Group" program. In the fourth quarter of 2025, the daily average payment GMV for chain merchants using "Freestyle Group" increased by 211% compared to the first quarter of the same year. By 2025, the service had already covered multiple food and beverage sub-categories, including beverages, Western fast food, bakery and desserts, and full-service Chinese dining.
