Shares of CREALITY (03388) have risen by more than 5%. At the time of writing, the stock is up 5.17% to HK$21.98, with a turnover of HK$36.74 million.

The increase follows the company's issuance of a clarification announcement regarding recent media reports. The reports referenced two separate disputes. One involves a lawsuit filed against the company in a New York state court by a Europe-based 3D scanner manufacturer. The other pertains to copyright and platform-related disputes in China involving MakerWorld and Bambu Lab.

The media reports alleged that CREALITY failed to fully disclose these disputes in its prospectus or selectively disclosed information related to them.

Company Clarifies International and Domestic Disputes

In its announcement, the company provided clarifications on the intellectual property disputes. Regarding the U.S. infringement lawsuit, one patent claim has already been judged as having no literal infringement, while other claims remain pending. Based on product sales volume and legal assessments, the company does not expect this case to have a material adverse impact.

Concerning the domestic disputes in China, no judgment has been rendered. After evaluation, the company has determined these matters do not constitute significant events that would require disclosure under the standards for major litigation.

CREALITY stated it will continue to monitor the progress of these cases and will issue timely announcements should any material developments occur.
