At the 2026 Yabuli Forum Summer Annual Meeting, held from September 4 to 6 in Chengdu, Sichuan, Su Dezhong, Chairman of Youer Group and founder of Youer Intelligent Technology, stated that AI technology empowers early childhood development with the ability to "see precisely, see deeply, and see further."

Su noted that Youer Group manages over 130 childcare facilities, with each location serving 50 to 100 children within a two-to-three-kilometer radius. Through AI, the company has transformed traditional "visible" childcare into a model that is "precise, deep, and forward-looking."

During the 0-6 age range, parents are highly concerned about their children's daily performance at childcare centers. In the era before cameras, parents had no real-time visibility once they dropped off their children. Entering the internet age, Youer Group installed cameras in its childcare settings, enabling visual services by connecting to parents' phones. However, this solution introduced a new issue: no parent can continuously watch camera feeds for eight hours straight. The company's first breakthrough, therefore, was achieving "precision." By leveraging AI algorithms, Youer converted fragmented streams into valuable, high-quality data for model training, using this data to generate enhanced services through AI.

The first implemented service revolves around this "precision" approach: AI automatically captures ten ten-second highlight moments of each child daily and pushes them to parents, replacing the outdated method of parents manually sifting through footage. The second service focuses on "depth." Su explained that parents are eager to know if their child is eating well, sleeping well, playing with friends, and what interests are emerging. With such behavioral data, interests can be gradually cultivated, fulfilling the idea that "every child has unique talents."

Looking ahead, the third service targets "foresight." Su stated that by using AI's reasoning capabilities, analyzing a child's current emotional, psychological, mental, and behavioral patterns, it becomes possible to predict their development over the next three to five years. This enables proactive interventions and solutions, generating both economic and social benefits. "I believe AI applications are universal, not just in our industry but across sectors from elderly care to healthcare," he remarked.
