STAR CM Holdings Limited disclosed on 16 June 2026 that it bought back 50,000 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day, paying between HK$0.77 and HK$0.78 per share. The transaction’s volume-weighted average price was HK$0.779, with an aggregate outlay of HK$39,095.95.
The repurchase trimmed STAR CM’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) from 398.54 million to 398.49 million, while the acquired shares have been retained as treasury stock. The 50,000 shares correspond to 0.01% of the company’s issued share capital before the transaction.
This is the first utilisation of the general mandate approved on 19 June 2025, which authorises the company to buy back up to 39.85 million shares. The mandate usage now stands at 0.01%.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, STAR CM cannot issue, sell or transfer any shares or treasury shares until 16 July 2026, marking the end of the 30-day moratorium triggered by the buyback.
