On the morning of July 29, a video circulated online showing a Li Auto vehicle repeatedly attempting and failing to execute automatic parking in an underground garage, with the car struggling to enter the space and blocking traffic behind it.

Eventually, the owner had to manually reverse the car into the spot under the watchful eyes of a gathered crowd. Today, the topic "Li Auto's automatic parking repeatedly adjusts and fails" trended on social media. As of now, Li Auto's official channels have not issued a response regarding the incident.

However, the owner involved responded on social media, stating that they had used the "car-leaving parking" feature. Standing at a distance, they watched the vehicle adjust its position multiple times. It was only upon approaching that the owner discovered an electric scooter was occupying the space behind the car, causing the system to repeatedly attempt to find an angle to avoid it.

In the comments, the owner added that they had recently purchased the vehicle and were not yet proficient with many of its functions. When parking, they mistakenly believed the electric scooter would not be a problem. After contacting customer service, it was confirmed that the scooter was indeed the cause. "As soon as I found out, I immediately went downstairs to apologize to the drivers I had blocked, and then I parked the car manually," the owner explained.
