On 2 April 2026, NetEase Cloud Music Inc. executed an on-market buyback of 113,450 ordinary shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, spending HKD 15.00 million in aggregate. The shares were repurchased at prices ranging from HKD 129.40 to HKD 133.70, translating into a volume-weighted average of HKD 132.19 per share.
Post-transaction, the company’s outstanding share count (excluding treasury shares) fell to 214.13 million, down 0.05% from 214.25 million a day earlier. Treasury shares rose to 3.78 million, while total issued shares remained unchanged at 217.92 million.
The repurchase was conducted under the mandate approved on 25 June 2025, which authorises NetEase Cloud Music to buy back up to 21.74 million shares. Including the latest transaction, the company has repurchased 3.45 million shares, representing 1.59% of the shares outstanding on the mandate date.
All 113,450 repurchased shares will be held as treasury stock; none have been cancelled to date. In accordance with Hong Kong listing rules, NetEase Cloud Music is subject to a moratorium on issuing, selling or transferring treasury shares until 2 May 2026.
