China Mobile Limited disclosed that its ultimate controlling shareholder, China Mobile Communications Group Co., Ltd., appointed Mr. Chen Zhongyue as Chairman on 28 October 2025. Mr. Yang Jie no longer serves in that role.

According to the announcement, if any resulting changes occur in the board of directors of China Mobile Limited or in their roles, further information will be released in a subsequent announcement.

The existing board of China Mobile Limited comprises executive directors Mr. Yang Jie, Mr. He Biao, Mr. Wang Limin, and Mr. Li Ronghua, alongside independent non-executive directors Mr. Yiu Kin Wah Stephen, Dr. Yang Qiang, Mr. Lee Ka Sze Carmelo, and Mrs. Leung Ko May Yee Margaret.
