Recent data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange reveals a notable shift in shareholdings for World-Link Logistics (Asia) (06083) on July 15th. The total value of shares transferred reached HK$201 million, representing 42.66% of the relevant holdings.

The company's shareholder moved 214 million shares into Haojie Securities while transferring out an equivalent 214 million shares from BANK OF E ASIA.

For the 2025 fiscal year, the company reported revenue of approximately HK$367 million, marking a year-on-year increase of about 4.6%. However, net profit stood at HK$17.335 million, reflecting a decrease of roughly 6.7% compared to the previous year. Earnings per share were 3.57 HK cents.

According to the company's announcement, the decline in net profit was primarily attributed to several factors. These included the seasonal impact of an earlier Lunar New Year holiday compared to 2024, the decision by management to cease operations at a non-wholly-owned subsidiary due to persistent business losses and impairment charges, and a challenging market environment for logistics services in Hong Kong.

These combined factors led to an overall reduction in supply chain management service volume, which offset the profit growth generated by the market planning and sales business segments.
