Crypto stocks jumped in Monday trading.

SBET rose 15%; GameSquare rose 10%; BMNR rose 6%; BTBT rose 5%; Strategy rose 4%; Riot Platforms, Upexi rose 3%; Coinbase up 2%.

GameSquare Holdings, Inc. has announced the strategic purchase of 2,717 Ethereum (ETH) for $10 million, increasing its total ETH holdings to 15,630.07. The acquisition forms part of a broader initiative by the company to integrate crypto-native strategies into its corporate treasury, signaling a long-term commitment to decentralized finance (DeFi) and blockchain-based capital management.

The purchase coincides with the formal launch of GameSquare’s Ethereum yield strategy, which went live on August 1, 2025. Developed in collaboration with Dialectic, a crypto-native investment firm and technology platform, the yield strategy aims to earn between 8% and 14% annually through on-chain protocols. This represents one of the more aggressive yet calculated approaches to digital asset deployment seen among publicly traded companies.
