MEDBOT-B (02252) extended its gains, rising over 4% during trading. As of the latest update, the stock was up 3.51% at HK$24.18, with a turnover of HK$54.32 million. On the news front, the company recently issued a profit alert, forecasting a net profit of RMB 28 million to RMB 40 million for the first half of the year, a significant turnaround from a loss of RMB 115 million in the same period last year. This marks the company's first-ever half-year profitability. Revenue is expected to surge by approximately 200% to 230%, translating to an estimated RMB 527 million to RMB 580 million.

A key driver is the company's flagship product, the Figma surgical robot, which saw overseas revenue jump by over 450%. Overall gross margin improved by more than 15 percentage points. Haitong International attributed the company's first-half turnaround to a combination of revenue growth, gross margin improvements, and optimized cost controls. As domestic and international installations ramp up, the company's economies of scale and operating leverage are expected to gradually materialize.
