Shares of FIT HON TENG (HKEX: 06088) surged more than 10%. At the time of writing, the stock was up 10.36% to HK$10.01, with a turnover of HK$689 million.

The rally follows a significant overnight surge in leading U.S. optical communication stocks, with Marvell Technology's stock skyrocketing over 32%. NVIDIA's CEO, Jensen Huang, commented on the industry's heavy reliance on advanced interconnect technologies, highlighting the critical importance of companies like Marvell. Huang expressed that Marvell has the potential to become the next trillion-dollar company. He also projected that copper cables will remain in massive use over the next 5 to 10 years, alongside a vast deployment of optical components.

Analysts have previously pointed out that FIT HON TENG is deeply embedded in the global AI computing ecosystem through its comprehensive AI connectivity solutions, which include high-speed interconnects, liquid cooling systems, high-power connectors, and optical modules. The company showcased multiple innovative products at the NVIDIA GTC and OFC exhibitions, receiving strong market recognition and positive feedback.

The company is transitioning from being a single-component supplier to a system-level solution provider, leading to continuous increases in the value per unit and product gross margins, thereby further expanding its growth potential.
