China Gingko Education Group Company Limited has published its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for the year ended 31 December 2025, detailing quantitative progress on sustainability, human capital and operational integrity for its flagship Gingko College of Hospitality Management in Sichuan.

Governance and Scope • The Board retains ultimate oversight of ESG strategy and risk, supported by an independent materiality assessment completed during the year. • Reporting covers Gingko College’s operations for the 2025 calendar year and follows Hong Kong Stock Exchange Appendix C2 guidelines on a “comply or explain” basis.

Human Capital • Total headcount rose to 1,371 (2024: 1,301), comprising 47% teachers, 34% supporting staff and 20% management/administration. • Female employees represented 68%, while staff aged 30 or below accounted for 29%. • Turnover rate was 28% (369 departures), up from 22% in 2024; turnover among staff aged 51 or above reached 53%. • Average training hours per teacher climbed to 53 hours (2024: 43). • Zero work-related fatalities were recorded for the third consecutive year; 14 injury-related lost days were reported.

Student and Academic Quality • Enrolment stood at approximately 22,703 students. • No complaints on education services were lodged during the period. • The college expanded workplace-simulation platforms, enhanced fire and food-safety protocols, and strengthened mental-health support through counsellors and on-campus medical facilities.

Environmental Performance • Total greenhouse-gas emissions fell 2.4% to 7,945 tCO2e; intensity improved to 0.33 tCO2e per employee/student (2024: 0.35). • Direct (Scope 1) emissions dropped sharply to 23 tCO2e (2024: 244 tCO2e) following stricter vehicle-use controls; indirect (Scope 2) emissions were broadly stable at 7,682 tCO2e. • Energy consumption totalled 14,478 MWh, of which 99% was purchased electricity; intensity remained at 0.61 MWh per employee/student. • Water usage reached 616,675 m³, or 25.62 m³ per employee/student. • Non-hazardous waste generation was 9,472 tonnes (393.46 kg per employee/student); hazardous waste totalled 341 kg. • Air-pollutant output decreased significantly, with nitrogen oxides at 13.64 kg (2024: 382.11 kg) and particulate matter at 1.20 kg (2024: 22.59 kg). • New medium-term targets call for 3% cuts in Scope 1-2 GHG intensity, energy-consumption intensity and non-hazardous-waste intensity by 2030 (2025 baseline).

Climate-Risk Management • First-time scenario analysis (IPCC SSP1-2.6 & SSP5-8.5; NGFS Net Zero 2050 & Current Policies) identified extreme weather and tightening regulations as principal risks, and energy-efficiency investments as a key opportunity. • Findings have been embedded into the corporate risk-management framework; progress will be reviewed annually.

Responsible Business Practices • All 48 key suppliers are Mainland China-based and screened under the group’s Supplier Management System for environmental and social standards. • No cases of bribery, fraud, money-laundering or regulatory non-compliance were reported. • Data-privacy safeguards include a dedicated Archives Centre and strict confidentiality clauses for staff.
