The Hunan Provincial People's Government Office recently issued implementation opinions on accelerating the development of the smart robot industry.

These opinions focus on areas such as industrial robots, service and consumer robots, and special operation robots. The goal is to build a smart robot industry chain that integrates key materials, core components, complete machine research and development, pilot testing, intelligent manufacturing, scenario application, and data feedback, promoting collaborative breakthroughs and industrialization across all links.

By 2028, the province aims for the entire smart robot industry chain to achieve a revenue target of 100 billion yuan. This will be accompanied by a significant improvement in the development levels of key basic materials, advanced manufacturing processes, and core components. The plan includes cultivating around five leading enterprises and creating a batch of specialized and sophisticated supporting companies.

By 2030, the revenue target for the provincial smart robot industry chain is set to surpass 200 billion yuan. The autonomous supporting system for core components and key materials, including precision transmissions, high-precision sensing, motion control, and lightweight alloys, is expected to mature. The plan also aims to cultivate around ten leading enterprises, positioning the province's overall industrial strength within the national first tier.
