CHINA HK POWER has finalised the issuance of 100.00 million new shares at HK$0.29 each under its general mandate, generating gross proceeds of HK$29.00 million and net proceeds of approximately HK$28.80 million. Completion occurred on 21 September 2026 following the terms of the Subscription Agreement. The fresh capital is earmarked for general working-capital needs, including rental obligations, staff costs, professional fees and other administrative and operating expenses.
Post-transaction, the total issued share count rose to 8.26 billion, up from 8.16 billion, diluting existing shareholders by about 1.21%. The controlling shareholders—Chairman Dr. Kan Che Kin and Mrs. Kan Kung Chuen Lai—now hold 54.30% of the enlarged equity base, down from 54.96% pre-deal. Public float increased modestly, with the new subscriber owning 1.21% of outstanding shares and other public shareholders collectively holding 44.48%, compared with 45.03% previously.
The board composition remains unchanged, with Dr. Kan serving as Chairman, Mr. Deng Yaobo as CEO, and Mr. Li Kai Yien, Arthur as Executive Director, alongside two non-executive directors and three independent non-executive directors.
