ZERO2IPO reported a decisive swing to profitability in the six months ended 30 June 2026, underscoring a turnaround driven by resurgent investment-banking fees and sharply higher marketing income.

Revenue and Earnings • Revenue rose 27.20 % year-on-year to RMB 71.03 million. • Gross profit surged 252.16 % to RMB 24.28 million, lifting gross margin to 34.2 % from 12.4 % a year earlier. • The group posted net profit of RMB 16.32 million versus a net loss of RMB 14.77 million in 1H25.

Segment Performance • Data Services: Revenue remained broadly stable; gross margin held at roughly 41 %. • Marketing Services: Profit more than doubled to RMB 10.10 million; margin expanded to 47.9 % on strong advertising demand. • Investment Banking: Segment recorded RMB 4.36 million gross profit versus a RMB 6.40 million loss in 1H25, reflecting completion of previously mandated deals. • Training: Gross loss narrowed 75.90 % to RMB 0.70 million as course volumes increased.

Cost and Expense Trends • Cost of revenue fell 4.30 % to RMB 46.75 million, aided by fewer offline events. • Selling & marketing and general & administrative expenses declined 13.10 % and 13.80 %, respectively. • R&D spending grew 34.20 % to RMB 5.09 million, highlighting ongoing investment in AI-enabled products.

Balance Sheet and Liquidity • Total assets stood at RMB 881.14 million, down from RMB 1.14 billion at end-2025, mainly due to lower customer brokerage deposits. • Total liabilities fell to RMB 247.22 million, trimming the gearing ratio to 28.1 % from 44.0 %. • Cash, cash equivalents and short-term deposits totaled RMB 183.23 million; working capital measured RMB 412.40 million.

Capital Management and Investments • The company repurchased 4.49 million shares for HKD 7.54 million in 2Q26, holding 10.54 million treasury shares at period-end; an additional 0.32 million shares were bought in early July. • Outstanding wealth-management products totaled RMB 40.00 million and USD 4.20 million, equivalent to 4.54 % and 3.25 % of total assets, respectively. • Capital commitments to portfolio investments amounted to RMB 30.05 million. • In February 2026, a 20 % stake in Beijing ZGC Forum & Exhibition was sold for RMB 5.61 million.

Outlook Management cited an industry rebound led by AI and hard-tech capital flows and will continue leveraging proprietary data and AI capabilities while expanding cross-border investment-banking and direct equity investments.

No interim dividend was declared for the period.
