The Marine Economic Development Department of Zhejiang Province recently issued the "Zhejiang Province Marine Clean Energy Industry Development Guidelines," focusing on four major industries: offshore wind power, offshore photovoltaics, ocean energy, and coastal nuclear power, to build a full-chain marine clean energy industry cluster.

The Guidelines propose that by 2030, the province's marine clean energy and its equipment industry scale will exceed 300 billion yuan, with offshore wind power installed capacity surpassing 10 million kilowatts, establishing a ten-million-kilowatt-level offshore wind power base. Landmark projects such as wind power mother ports will be put into operation, tidal current energy will achieve hundred-megawatt-level commercial application, offshore photovoltaics will realize "wind-solar same-site" contiguous development, the green hydrogen-ammonia-methanol industry will begin to take shape, and more than 50 leading enterprises and specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises in the marine clean energy sector will be cultivated.
