CHINANEWENERGY (01156) announced that the group expects to record a loss attributable to owners of approximately RMB 7.8 million for the interim period of 2025, compared to a loss attributable to owners of approximately RMB 2.5 million for the six months ended June 30, 2024.

The increased loss compared to the first half of 2024 is primarily attributed to the following factors: revenue declined by approximately 35.6%; gross profit margin decreased by approximately 4.2%; and the share of results of associates recorded a loss of approximately RMB 1.3 million (compared to a profit of approximately RMB 1 million in the first half of 2024).
