Baidu has announced the integration of its DuClaw service with Xiaodu, enabling the AI to extend beyond screens into the physical world and provide users with enhanced smart services, such as schedule management. The announcement was made during Baidu's AI Open Day event held on March 17.

For instance, when a user needs to leave for work, they can ask Xiaodu for details about their daily schedule, weather conditions, and traffic updates. DuClaw will then intelligently calculate the optimal departure time and deliver the information via voice through Xiaodu's smart display. The entire process is automated, making Xiaodu more intelligent and closely integrated into users' daily lives following the integration with DuClaw.

DuClaw is a zero-deployment AI service launched by Baidu Intelligent Cloud on March 11. It eliminates the need for steps such as image selection, server deployment, and API key configuration, allowing AI agents to be used immediately upon activation. The service incorporates Baidu's core capabilities, including search, Baidu Baike, and academic search, and supports flexible configuration of multiple mainstream large models. Users can utilize the service without any technical setup.
