Over 300 robots begin work at Chimelong

More than 300 AgiBot robots officially began "work" at Chimelong Spaceship Park in Hengqin, Zhuhai on September 24, deployed across more than 100 locations to give explanations, play rock-paper-scissors, play table tennis, and practice calligraphy.

For a long period, the entire embodied intelligence industry has found itself in an awkward position: factory scenarios have stringent requirements for dexterous operations, and the cost of adapting non-standardized production lines remains high; home scenarios are even less mature, with high costs, safety risks, and the high uncertainty of the home environment keeping household humanoid robots in the realm of long-term imagination.

On one side, capital continues to pour in and complete machines are rapidly mass-produced; on the other side, there is a lack of commercial soil where scalable operations can be achieved and continuous real user feedback can be obtained.

As a result, cultural tourism has become a testing ground that the industry is betting on. The market is watching: is cultural tourism a good scenario for the commercialization of embodied intelligence? Let's take a look.
