The board of China Rare Earth (HKEX: 00769) has announced a change in its directorship. Mr. Liao Xuming has tendered his resignation as a non-executive director of the company, effective from June 16, 2026.

Concurrently, effective from the same date, Mr. Zhang Chengcai has been appointed to several key roles. He will take up the position of an independent non-executive director of the company. Additionally, he has been named as the Chairman of the company's Remuneration Committee and the Chairman of its Nomination Committee. He will also serve as a member of the Audit Committee.
