The company announced that it will present the latest clinical data for its innovative Nectin-4-targeted ADC drug, 9MW2821 (Bulumtatug Fuvedotin, BFv), at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago from May 29 to June 2, 2026. The data to be presented includes an oral report on the Phase Ib/II clinical study of 9MW2821 combined with toripalimab for locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma (la/mUC), and a poster presentation on the Phase II clinical study of the same combination for perioperative muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC).
9MW2821 is MABWELL's first site-specific conjugated ADC drug targeting Nectin-4. It is an innovative product developed using the company's ADC drug development platform, which employs proprietary conjugation linker technology and optimized ADC conjugation processes to achieve site-specific antibody modification. After administration, 9MW2821 binds to Nectin-4 on the surface of tumor cells and enters the cells, where enzymatic cleavage leads to the targeted release of a cytotoxic agent, enabling precise tumor cell killing.
The company is currently conducting multiple clinical studies for various indications, including urothelial carcinoma, cervical cancer, esophageal cancer, and breast cancer.
