During the National Day holiday, the supply of agricultural products is abundant. In order to safeguard the public's health, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region carried out a special supervision campaign on agricultural product quality and safety during the festival, focusing on key categories, critical stages, and major areas to strengthen risk screening.
Sampling officers conducted on-site inspections, including sampling of livestock and poultry products as part of the supervisory sampling and law enforcement checks.
The operation prioritized agricultural products with high holiday consumption, such as vegetables, fruits, livestock and poultry meat, and aquatic products. Sampling staff were organized to go deep into production bases and purchasing points to conduct routine sampling and testing. Up to now, a total of 959 batches have been sampled, with 658 batches already showing results, all of which passed. For any risk hazards identified during the screening, production and business entities were urged to rectify immediately, and illegal acts were investigated and punished according to the law.
Next, the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Department of the Autonomous Region will continue to intensify sampling of agricultural products entering the market during the holiday period, strictly prevent substandard products from entering the market, and make every effort to protect public health.
