On April 15, BLACK SESAME announced that the Dongfeng Tianyuan Smart Cockpit Plus integrated cockpit-drive mass production platform has officially adopted its Wudang C1296 chip, marking a platform-level cooperation between the two parties. As the first localized integrated cockpit-drive mass production platform, it utilizes a single chip to support an intelligent cockpit, L2+ driving assistance, and FAPA parking functions simultaneously. It will first be featured in the Dongfeng eπ 007 model, with plans to expand to the full range of Dongfeng vehicles in the future. Mass production is scheduled to continue from 2026 into 2027. The Tianyuan Smart Cockpit Plus offers a comprehensive upgrade to the user experience. The cabin supports 3D immersive vehicle control, augmented reality lane-level navigation, and an AI large language model personal assistant, achieving seamless connectivity with multiple devices like phones and tablets. At the intelligent driving level, leveraging multi-modal perception fusion, it capably handles full-scenario L2+ driving needs, complemented by FAPA automatic parking and PDC parking distance control, comprehensively covering both driving and parking safety scenarios. The exceptional experience is underpinned by the core computing power of BLACK SESAME's Wudang C1296 chip. Manufactured using a 7nm automotive-grade process, this single chip integrates four major domains: cockpit, intelligent driving, gateway, and MCU vehicle control. It reduces latency and improves resource utilization through cross-domain dynamic scheduling of computing power and memory sharing, and can operate stably without liquid cooling. The C1296 chip has obtained the highest level of functional safety certification, ISO 26262 ASIL-D, and supports multi-channel high-definition display, Unity 3D rendering, and the connection of various types of sensors. With the mass production launch of the Tianyuan Smart Cockpit Plus platform, BLACK SESAME will continue to collaborate with partners like Dongfeng to bring safe, intelligent, and immersive mobility experiences to a wide range of users.
