At the 2026 World Artificial Intelligence Conference, TENCENT announced a series of product and technology upgrades focused on embodied intelligence and intelligent agents.

The company presented its full-stack strategy for embodied AI for the first time. The cognitive engine, RxBrain-1.0, innovatively integrates text reasoning with visual imagination within continuous cognitive sequences to provide high-level guidance for decision-making. The new VLM-1.0 perception model achieves performance equivalent to the previous flagship model while using only one-tenth of the computational resources. The VLA-0.5 model, trained on over ten thousand hours of high-precision data, achieves unified modeling of vision, language, and action, possessing strong cross-platform deployment capabilities.

These models are already being applied in real-world industrial settings, having been validated in tasks such as shopping guidance and elderly care services. Leveraging a software-hardware integrated rapid adaptation capability, the same set of models can support large-scale applications for various robot forms. The deployment is also supported by several internal TENCENT products including Tencent Cloud HAI, multi-network aggregation acceleration, TRRO, and Tencent Music content.

In the area of embodied agents, TENCENT simultaneously released the TairosAgent framework and the Apexio agent. These integrate "left/right brain," "brain," "cerebellum," and physical components into a complete system, enabling robots to function as a cohesive unit for continuous perception, decision-making, and action.

Regarding foundational infrastructure, the Tencent Cloud computing base relies on GPU/HCC high-performance computing, the Xingmai network, and storage services like COS and GooseFS to support stable training on clusters with tens of thousands of accelerators. The model service layer utilizes the TI-ONE platform for model training and inference, with TokenHub handling MaaS inference scheduling. The perception and interaction layer provides capabilities including real-time audio/video (TRTC), remote real-time operation (TRRO), view computing, media processing (MPS), intelligent annotation, and voice interaction.

Addressing the practical efficiency needs of enterprises expanding overseas, Wu Yunsheng, Vice President of Tencent Cloud, officially launched the international version of the Tencent Cloud Enterprise Agent Development Platform (ADP 4.0). This version features comprehensive upgrades across four dimensions: reach, interaction, ecosystem, and connectivity. It integrates with mainstream overseas social channels like LINE and Telegram, supports custom timezone scheduling and language following, and includes locally adapted versions of several international large language models.

Beyond the product launch, Wu Yunsheng further discussed the current state of enterprise agent adoption. He noted that current deployments are still concentrated in two main scenarios: knowledge base Q&A and business process automation. While the maturation of Agent Loop capabilities this year has significantly broadened the scope for deployment, the lack of standardized API interfaces in legacy systems remains a core obstacle to scaling. For most traditional enterprises, intelligent agents can only be truly embedded into business workflows after their ERP, CRM, and other systems undergo adaptation.

In personal and team collaboration scenarios, WorkBuddy has officially launched as a standalone app, available simultaneously on iOS, Android, and HarmonyOS, becoming the first general-purpose agent application on the HarmonyOS platform. Since its initial release in March, WorkBuddy has become a widely popular efficiency AI agent service in China, thanks to its high-frequency iterations.

Furthermore, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and Tencent Cloud jointly launched 'AI Navigator+', built on the WorkBuddy platform. It deeply integrates policy, commercial, and cultural corpora from seven countries including Thailand, Singapore, and the UAE, embedding real-world business environments into the AI system. This capability is underpinned by the "Global Development Zone" within the WorkBuddy platform, which is now fully operational.

Beyond office and embodied AI domains, TENCENT's AI initiatives are accelerating their penetration into core areas such as content experience and commercial growth.

For commercial growth, Tencent Marketing offers the one-stop AIGC platform 'Tencent Miaosi' and the intelligent advertising product matrix 'Tencent Marketing AIM+'. Miaosi shifts creative production from bespoke customization to scalable manufacturing, while AIM+ delegates advertising operations, previously highly reliant on human input, to models that make decisions based on real-time feedback.

In the gaming and content sector, Huya released a real-time multimodal digital human model, VAM, which can generate a virtual human capable of real-time speaking, listening, and reacting from a single static image.

During the conference, the Tencent Research Institute, in collaboration with Tencent Cloud Intelligence, released the "Top 10 AI Trends for 2026" report, systematically outlining key directions for AI's evolution from model advancement to industrial transformation.
