Muyuan Foods Group Co., Ltd. (MUYUAN) disclosed on 11 September 2026 that it repurchased 106,800 H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange the same day, paying an aggregate HKD 4.07 million. The shares were bought at prices ranging from HKD 37.52 to HKD 38.54, translating to a volume-weighted average price of HKD 38.10 per share. All repurchased shares will be retained as treasury stock.
Following the transaction, MUYUAN’s outstanding H shares (excluding treasury shares) declined by 0.0346% to 308.73 million, while treasury stock climbed to 1.49 million shares. Total issued shares remained unchanged at 310.22 million.
The buyback forms part of the mandate approved by shareholders on 13 May 2026, which authorises the company to repurchase up to 31.02 million shares. Including the latest purchase, MUYUAN has bought back 1.49 million shares under this mandate, representing 0.48% of the issued share capital as at the mandate date.
Under Hong Kong listing rules, MUYUAN is subject to a 30-day moratorium on issuing new shares or selling treasury shares, lasting through 11 October 2026. The company confirmed that the repurchase complied with all relevant regulatory requirements.
