Amazon is in ​advanced talks to ‌acquire satellite telecom group ​Globalstar, a deal that ​would bolster the tech major's push to ⁠build its ​own satellite ​operation, Bloomberg News reported on Monday. Globalstar shares soared 18%.

Bloom Energy said it would supply Oracle with up to 2.8 ​gigawatts of fuel cell capacity under ‌an expanded deal as rising artificial intelligence use drives up power consumption. Bloom Energy surged 14.6%.

US chip company Credo Technology has announced that it is acquiring Israeli startup DustPhonics in a cash and share deal worth at least $850 million and potentially up to $1.3 billion, including future milestone agreements. The financial details of the definitive agreement include an immediate $750 million cash payment, plus Credo stock. Credo Technology shares jumped 12.8%.

United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby pitched the ​potential for merging with American Airlines in a meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump in late February, two sources said, raising the prospect of an industry-reshaping deal likely to ‌face significant regulatory hurdles. American Airlines rose 4.5%, while United Airlines rose 1.9%.

Danish drugmaker Novo Nordisk, which has fallen behind Eli Lilly in the immensely lucrative weight-loss drug market, said on Tuesday it is partnering with OpenAI to deploy artificial intelligence across its business, from drug discovery to ​manufacturing and commercial operations. Novo Nordisk shares rose 1.2%.
