The July contract for the Hang Seng Index night futures closed at 24,829 points on July 16, marking a gain of 172 points or 0.698%. This represents a premium, or 'high water' mark, of 148 points over the underlying spot index.
The total number of open contracts declined by 21,477 to settle at 127,454 contracts. The net number of open contracts also decreased, falling by 890 to reach 51,181 contracts.
