Yum China Holdings, Inc. (Yum China) reported fresh buyback activity that reduced its outstanding share count and added to the pipeline of shares awaiting cancellation.

The company cancelled 74,333 NYSE-repurchased shares on 22 July 2026, lowering the issued share base from 343.71 million to 343.64 million—an immediate reduction of 0.02%.

On the same day, Yum China repurchased a further 92,961 shares across both markets: • 23,400 shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at HKD 331.40–344.00, spending HKD 7.84 million. • 69,561 shares on the New York Stock Exchange at USD 42.66–43.48, spending USD 3.00 million.

Including earlier Hong Kong trades conducted between 2–21 July, a total of 415,811 shares—about 0.12% of the current share capital—are now pending cancellation.

The repurchases form part of the mandate approved on 28 May 2026, which authorises the buyback of up to 34.66 million shares. Cumulative repurchases under this mandate have reached 3.59 million shares, representing 1.04% of the share count on the mandate date.

All transactions were executed by independent brokers under a Rule 10b5-1 plan in the United States and a Hong Kong automatic share repurchase agreement. No treasury shares are being held; all repurchased shares are designated for cancellation.
