On October 27, 2025, Yangtze Optical Fibre and Cable Joint Stock Limited Company (YOFC) (Stock Code: 6869) held its first extraordinary general meeting (EGM). Based on the official announcement, the total number of shares then entitling shareholders to attend and vote was 757,905,108. In total, 662 shareholders and proxies, holding 331,871,930 shares (approximately 43.79% of the total issued shares), participated either on-site or online.

During the EGM, a special resolution was tabled to grant the board of directors a general mandate to issue shares. According to the poll results, more than two-thirds of the votes cast were in favor, meeting the threshold for a special resolution. Scrutineers, including the company’s H Share registrar and designated legal counsel, confirmed that all voting procedures were lawful and valid.

All board members of YOFC either attended in person or via telephone conference. The successful passage of the resolution was in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and the company’s Articles of Association.
