EB Grand China gains 99.84% shareholder backing for new deposit and loan service frameworks

EB Grand China (Everbright Grand China Assets Limited) announced that all resolutions at its 11 June 2026 extraordinary general meeting were approved by wide margins, clearing the way for new related-party financial service arrangements.

Two ordinary resolutions covered (1) the New Deposit Service Framework Agreement and (2) the New Loan Service Framework Agreement, together with their respective annual caps. Independent shareholders cast 310,860 votes (99.84%) in favour and 500 votes (0.16%) against each resolution, comfortably surpassing the simple-majority threshold.

Of the company’s 441.40 million issued shares, 331.00 million shares held by China Everbright and its associates abstained from voting in line with earlier disclosures, leaving 110.40 million shares entitled to vote. Tricor Investor Services Limited acted as scrutineer.

With the agreements now ratified, the board is authorised to execute all necessary documents and actions to implement the deposit and loan service frameworks and their annual caps.
