An announcement from Smoore International (06969) indicates that Eve Energy Co.,Ltd. (300014.SZ) has secured board approval for a new plan to reduce its shareholding.

The approval, granted on July 3, 2026, authorizes Eve Energy's wholly-owned subsidiary, EVE Battery Investment Ltd., to sell up to 3.5% of Smoore International's total issued shares, approximately 217 million shares, within one year from the approval date.

The proposed divestment may be executed through methods such as block trades or centralized competitive bidding, but its final implementation remains uncertain as it is subject to variables including the timing and price of the sales. Investors are advised to be mindful of the associated risks.

As of July 3, 2026, EVE Battery Investment holds roughly 1.874 billion shares in Smoore International, representing approximately 30.25% of the company's total issued share capital.

EVE Battery Investment is directly owned by Eve Energy Asia Limited, which is itself wholly owned by Eve Energy Co.,Ltd. Ms. Jiang Min, a non-executive director of Smoore International, serves as a board director, board secretary, vice president, and chief financial officer of Eve Energy.

Should Eve Energy complete the proposed sale of the additional 3.5% stake, it would subsequently cease to be the controlling shareholder of Smoore International.
