After a week of enthusiastic chatting on WeChat, a young employee surnamed Zhao from Great Wall Motor Company Limited's Xushui branch in Baoding, Hebei Province, took his girlfriend to visit a museum during their time off and shared his happiness with his parents living in another city.

Zhao met his girlfriend through a romantic event titled "Show Your Charm, Meet Your Destiny." Recently, Zhang Sumin, deputy director of the Party-Mass Office at Xushui Economic Development Zone Management Committee, led a group of 33 single young employees from Great Wall Motor Company Limited on a bus trip to a scenic mountain area 30 kilometers away.

"On the way there, the bus was quiet with little conversation, but on the return trip, laughter filled the air—15 pairs expressed interest in further contact," Zhang Sumin said happily.

As a provincial-level development zone, Xushui Economic Development Zone has spent over a decade optimizing its business environment and attracting investments. It has now established key industries such as new energy vehicles, equipment manufacturing, and new energy storage. The zone hosts 132 enterprises with over 30,000 employees, many of whom are young people from other regions.

The development zone's management committee and corporate women's federations have taken on dual roles as "parents" and "matchmakers," organizing large-scale matchmaking events to help employees find love.

Zhang Sumin mentioned that outdoor networking activities will be held periodically and expanded to other enterprises in the zone to encourage cross-company and diverse interactions.
