HUANXI MEDIA (01003) has announced that the group expects to record a net loss of approximately HK$498 million for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. This compares to a net loss of approximately HK$261 million recorded in the 2024 fiscal year. The increase in net loss for the 2025 fiscal year, compared to the previous year, is primarily attributable to an increase in impairment losses on film and television series copyrights of approximately HK$184 million. This increase is due to reduced expected revenue from these copyrights based on the latest market conditions. Additionally, there was an increase in impairment losses on financial assets and contract assets of approximately HK$41 million.
