XtalPi Announces AI-Powered Drug Discovery Partnership Between Subsidiary LCC Technologies and Stanford University

XtalPi Holdings Limited (XtalPi) reported that its wholly owned subsidiary, LCC Technologies Ltd., has signed a strategic drug-discovery collaboration agreement with The Board of Trustees of the Leland Stanford Junior University (Stanford University).

The partnership combines Stanford University’s disease-biology research with LCC Technologies’ proprietary PACE™ platform, which integrates fragment-based discovery, AI-driven computational design, automated synthesis and iterative design-make-test-analyse cycles. The collaboration is disease-agnostic; Stanford principal investigators may submit research proposals to a joint steering committee that will select projects based on scientific merit, tractability and therapeutic potential.

Management stated that the collaboration strengthens XtalPi’s positioning in AI- and automation-enabled small-molecule discovery and creates early-stage participation opportunities in new therapeutic programs.

Founded in 2014 and acquired by XtalPi in 2025, LCC Technologies specializes in chiral chemical space and small-molecule drug discovery. XtalPi itself was established in 2015 and applies quantum physics, artificial intelligence and robotics to R&D across pharmaceuticals, materials science and other sectors.

The board of XtalPi considers the agreement to be in the best interests of the company and its shareholders. No financial terms or project timelines were disclosed in the announcement dated 17 September 2026.
